New Cab Assassin (Lou in Disguise)

So we dropped the ball a couple of months back. Lou Albino have been hard at work on a new album or two and in the meantime they leaked some demos via myspace. Anyway, here is the lowdown. "Operation Argus" is a Lou Albino release under the name of Cab Assassin. It is an 8 song CD of instrumentals that are in essence demos of some songs that may be on one of the upcoming proper Lou Albino albums.

Like Knives, Post-Rock Balboa (extended), Argus Atlantis, Fish Call, Quiet as a Mouse, Anticlimactic, Stumbling in the Dark, Means to an Ending.

New on the Chiefbaby homefront

Steve has been picking away at acoustic demos that will make up a new (still untitled) cd to be released by Chiefbaby. He has recorded basic tracks for 15 acoustic versions of new/old songs and hopes to have them finished by Thanksgiving or Christmas. In addition to the acoustic demos, Steve will be putting some finishing touches on a few tracks that originally appeared on Jumbo Lump Riffs/Music is not Math. Not sure if they'll be included together or as separate releases. Not to mention, he has also completed some additional work on the Grit Scrimmage "Edison Auto Shop" CD.

more details TBA soon.
